How to Sign Any Unsigned Symbian App with Certificate

any times you might faced a common problem while installing Symbian applications you've downloaded from other than official sites, for exp any modded or cracked software. Such application show you Certificate error or autontication failed etc and preventing to install application. How to resolve this issue to use your favorite cracked or modde app? Here a simple way to got this.
Which Mobile Phones Need Certificates: Not all mobiles need cer. when they install third party softwares. Only those whose system is Symbian S60v3, S60v5, Symbian^3 and Symbian UIQ3.0 need cer. and others not need certificates. All unhacked phone specially need this and when you've certificate for your phone you don't need to hack your phone and take any risk. Below all method, instructions and applications are compatible with all Symbian S60v3, S60v5, Symbian^3 and Symbian UIQ3.0 phones.
How to Get Free Certificates:
1. First of all, visit free certificate applying site http://cer.opda.cn/en
2. Register an account first if you have not one. Log in if you have an account.
3. Press “Apply Cer” button to apply your free certificate after login.
4. After pressing “apply”, you will see the following picture.
Enter your mobile model in the first blank field. For example, if your mobile is Nokia E71, then enter E71 in the first field. Enter your IMEI in the second blank field. You can see your phone's IMEI by pressing *#06# when your mobile is in standby, and then you will see your mobile IMEI on the mobile screen. Enter this IMEI in the second blank field. Re-enter same IMEI in the third blank field to confirm it. Enter any word you like in the last blank. For example mannuforall's Nokia N8. At last press submit application button.
5. After submitting your application, you will see screen with your IMEI and submitting date and it'll show that your certificate is Applying. Now wait for your certificate will be created by opda.
6. Check in "My Certificate" option. Several hours later, you will see that the certificate has been made and the state of your certificate is Normal. Then download the certificate and the key with which you can use to sign your apps. The period of the certificate is three years. After three years you will have to apply your certificate again.
7. Now you have applied your certificate successfully. Now you can download that by clicking on .cer and .key options. Just keep your cer and key in computer or send them to your phone. You can either sign for your apps in computer or in mobile.
How to Sign Application with Your Certificates and Key:
Now you've got your free certificate and you ready to sign your unsigned applications. To sign your unsigned apps you've three options:
1. Using Free Signer: This tiny Symbian app you can install in your phone and can sign any app direct in phone. Its the best way to sign your apps. Download the FreeSigner app and the save Certificates and Key you've got at opda in your phone. Install the Free Signer.sisx in your phone and start it. Just follow the on screen instruction to sign your app. You need to select you .cer and .key files in place of default one.

2. Using Sign SIS Tool for PC: The SignSIS is signing tool which you can use in your desktop to sign any Symbian software. Download and unzip it anywhere you want. Double click on SignTool.exe to start the application. This application is in Chinese language but you don't need to worry. Here I've uploaded the screen shoot with edited menu in English words to understand it.
In first field click on browse to select the signsis.exe file which in same folder you've downloaded and unzipped the Sign SIS Tool for PC.zip file.
Now in 2nd field select your unsigned Symbian app which you wants to sign.
In 3rd field select the .cer file which you've generated and download from opda.
In 4th field select the .key file which you've also generated and download from opda. The password is not necessary, its optional.
In last 5th field select the target folder where you want to save new singed app and also enter any name in "File Name" for new file and click on Save.
Finally click on !Sign it! (S) button to start the process.
Now a Dos like windows will open and than you'll see a signed successful confirmation box and press OK. Its done and your new signed app is save at folder you selected. This only limited to take file with .sis extension. To sign .sisx apps just rename it to .sis and try if works for you.
3. Signing Softs: Use this online method on opda site. You can see this link on top. When you click on that Signing Softs link, you'll get options to sign your app. Here you need to select the phone certificate with which you wants to sign your unsigned app. In Use the certificate field it'll show your certificate details and number of signing software you've signed online using it. Now Upload the software which need to be signed by clicking Choose File in "Upload Files" and enter any Remark. Finally click on Submit and Upload to start the process.
